The CRISIS PEER provides holistic counseling based on a trauma-informed, evidence-based approach to individuals, families, and the community by counseling and providing mental health support, with emphasis on healing and trauma re-adjustment recovery.

About Dr. Kevin Scott

Dr. Kevin Scott is a trauma-informed mental health leader and peer-support expert dedicated to helping individuals heal, build resilience, and regain control of their lives. Drawing from his military service in Operation Just Cause and Operation Desert Storm, as well as years of experience in education, community advocacy, and mental health support, he understands the lasting impact of trauma, addiction, and invisible wounds.


Dr. Scott works directly with those most affected, veterans, justice-involved individuals, and anyone navigating trauma, social isolation, or systemic neglect, providing guidance, evidence-based strategies, and compassionate support to help clients process experiences, develop emotional resilience, and move forward with purpose.
